Although the Writers Guild strike derailed the traditional on air extravaganza for the 2008 Golden Globe Awards, the celebrity gifting suites still managed to attract a few up and coming celebrities interested in getting their hands on the latest and greatest.

Denim Design Lab was the official denim sponsor for the Secret Room gifting event in Brentwood, CA in honor of the 2008 Golden Globe Awards. Limited edition Denim Design Lab LE books and DDL vintage T’s were on offer to the celebrities and major press, and for the lucky nominees of the GG’s, Denim Design Lab pulled forward some of its best men’s and women’s Fall 2008 premium denim styles and crafted them into custom models for the lucky few.

This custom premium denim opportunity was made possible due to a collaboration with Cone Denim of North Carolina and the Blue River Denim Laundry from Los Angeles, CA. Denim Design Lab utilized some amazing fabrics from Cone for this program, including organic selvage denim, “Black Seed” pima cotton denim and Cone’s new patent pending S Gene stretch denim to create one-of-a-kind premium vintage inspired jeans.
